August 12th

I love working with Katie. Today she discovered her very favorite activity, attaching my boots. She cracks me up! If this bird was the size of a hawk she would be an absolute terror, good thing her size is equivalent to a robin. Maybe it's her spunk that wins me over. I could spend hours just sitting with her on my glove.

Raptor Jen and I worked on making jesses tonight. She showed me all of the tools and supplies necessary to complete the project. We couldn't start on empty stomach however and made a quick run for a Roma's pizza and a bucket of banana split icec ream. Yum! It was very fun talking with Jen while working on the jesses.
